Loukis Laras
a musical narration based on the homonymous literary work by Dimitrios Vikelas.
The text, which is performed for the first time on stage in the form of a musical narration for voice and cello, follows the journey of an “anti-heroic” figure of the conflict era, who experiences the tragedy of the Massacre of Chios, but refrains from the atmosphere of patriotic exaltation and heroic hymns of his time.
